If you think you may be struggling with an Eating Disorder, do not wait to seek help. You do not have to be struggling with an actual diagnosable disorder to begin seeking help. An eating disorder affects one’s thoughts long before it ever affects one’s behavior.(See: Continuum Flyer)

If you are having a hard time with eating issues, know there is help and people who want to listen. The key to recovery is taking the first step of seeking help.

There are a number of ways you can begin seeking help. All of these resources are free and confidential to MU students.

You can:
-discuss your concerns with a physician at the Student Health Center (882-7481)

-sit down with a dietician at the Wellness Resource Center (882-4634)

-set up an free appointment with the Counseling Center (882-6601)

-speak with a counselor at the Women’s Center (882-6621)
